Two Municipalities to Install Solar Panels in Jordan

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has launched two tenders as part of the 100 Municipalities’ Solar Panel System Installation Project. This initiative aims to harness renewable energy, reduce electricity bills for municipalities, support sustainable development, and boost the green economy in the Kingdom.

Tenders Ignite Solar Panel Installation Push


The first tender focuses on organizing and conducting events and sessions related to the solar panel’s installation at various stations. These sessions are designed to raise awareness among citizens and employees about the benefits and applications of solar energy, emphasizing the key pillars of renewable energy and its practical uses. This effort marks the Kingdom's first significant public initiative to educate its population on renewable energy.

The second tender involves designing and implementing specialized training programs for municipal employees.
