Awarded to L&T’s Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) division, the project includes the installation of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a capacity of 254 MWh.

Analysts, including Amit Anwani from Prabhudas Lilladher Pvt Ltd – have noted that this order alone could substantially increase L&T’s year-to-date order intake– which is projected to be between Rs. 55 billion to Rs. 125 billion.
