SolarEdge Unveils All-in-One App for Solar Installers
SolarEdge Technologies has unveiled SolarEdge Go–its first mobile app designed to streamline key operations for solar installers. This all-in-one platform integrates installation, commissioning, management and servicing processes.
The moblie app minimises unnecessary on-site visits and enhances operational efficiency with advanced remote management and monitoring features. Over the coming months, the app will incorporate the full functionality of SolarEdge’s existing SetApp and Mapper applications.
SolarEdge Go Enhances Remote Access and Fleet Management
SolarEdge Go will continue to roll out new features, including advanced Remote Access capabilities that give installers control over operations from any location. These features include direct access to inverter settings, remote diagnostics such as error logs and configuration adjustments.
Fleet management tools include a real-time interactive map, instant site information access and continuous system uptime monitoring with alerts to ensure prompt issue resolution and optimal fleet performance. The app also simplifies site management, allowing solar installers to create, edit or select sites, register solar inverters and manage permissions for remote site access.
The app streamlines site installation processes, covering everything from commissioning to site creation, equipment setup and user management. It accelerates commissioning with features like quick Power Optimizer pairing and the option to schedule upgrades post-commissioning.
Additional capabilities include managing grid settings and equipment. Users can also generate and share detailed commissioning reports to ensure proper setup verification.
SolarEdge Go Enhances Monitoring and Customer Support
The app offers advanced site and fleet monitoring with detailed data on system performance, energy production, consumption and historical trends. For commercial and industrial sites, it delivers key performance indicators and environmental metrics, offering deeper insights into large systems. Solar installers can also directly contact customers through the app, improving service and support.
