Sterling and Wilson Secures Contract for 500MW Solar Project

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy has secured a $141 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order for a 500-megawatt (MW) solar project in Gujarat, India. This deal strengthens its position in India’s renewable energy sector. The contract includes the design, engineering and installation of the balance-of-system (BoS) components.

SWREL to Manage EPC for the Solar Project


Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy announced that it has received a letter of intent for a solar project valued at approximately INR 12 billion ($141 million). The company will manage the design, engineering and procurement (excluding PV module supply), as well as the construction of the 500 MW (AC) solar project. The EPC contract includes the installation of the balance-of-system (BoS) components. Additionally, Sterling and Wilson will provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) support for three years.
